Job Overview
Role: Cleaning and Waste Operative
Contract: Fixed term
Hours: 11 hours or 38.5 hours week
Shift Pattern: 7 am to 7 pm, 4 on / 4 off
Salary: £12.85 / hour
In your new role as a Cleaning and Waste Operative you will work within a warehouse environment as part of our cleaning and waste team. Your duties will include general cleaning and tidying of all areas within the warehouse, including washrooms and canteens.
You will use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials and cleaning products, and ensure all equipment is kept clean, well‑maintained and in safe working order.
You will need to react quickly to client call‑outs and comply with all Health & Safety legislation and policies (all training will be provided). You will manage waste disposal.
Responsibilities- Perform general cleaning and tidying of the warehouse, washrooms and canteens.
- Use cleaning equipment, materials and products safely.
- Maintain and clean equipment.
- Respond to client call‑outs promptly.
- Follow Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
- Manage waste disposal.
