Job Summary

Annual Salary: £40,000.00 (range £40k‑£50k FTE, dependent on experience)

Hours: 16 to 35 hours a week (4‑8 clinical sessions; part‑time, flexible)

We are seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner / Paramedic Practitioner to join our team in Newport, Gwent. The role will involve providing urgent on‑day care and routine care within a busy practice that serves just over 10 000 patients.

The current medical team comprises two GP partners, two salaried GPs, one ANP, three practice nurses, one health‑care assistant, a phlebotomist and excellent administrative support. EMIS computer system is used.

• Provide on‑day urgent care and routine care in a multidisciplinary clinic.
• Attend 4‑8 clinical sessions per week, as per flexible schedule.
• Work closely with GP partners and practice staff.
• Offer continuity of care for patients requiring ongoing management.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date clinical records on EMIS.

• Face‑to‑face and remote experience with patients.
• Experience working in primary care (desirable).

• Must be NMC registered or equivalent. (Essential)
• Independent prescriber (desirable).
