Electrification | Drives, Control Application

Join a global engineering leader delivering advanced power conversion and drive technologies across the energy, marine and industrial sectors.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university or college (or equivalent qualification) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent subject
• Experience in design, development, and maintenance of drive control application software
• Proven works on Variable Speeds Drive application software
• Track record in capturing and creating requirements, tech reports, and functional design documents
• Sole UK National is strictly required

• Control application software for converter systems and electrical drives such as but not limited to requirements, design, implementation and testing
• Writing application software that interfacing to other peripheral equipment
• Validation through the use of HIL rigs and Laboratory test drives of application software
• To develop and maintain good engineering interfaces to other engineering teams such as, Power Electronics, Automation and Power System teams to provide a fully Integrated System Solution
• Validation and commissioning of electrical drive systems
