ASC Learning Support Assistant – SEND School, Rugby
A recruitment specialist in education is looking for an ASC Learning Support Assistant in Rugby. The successful candidate will support pupils with autism spectrum condition (ASC) and additional needs, assisting in classroom activities and delivering tailored interventions.
- Support classroom activities for pupils with ASC and additional needs.
- Deliver tailored interventions and support plans.
- Maintain excellent communication with staff, pupils and parents.
Applicants should have a passion for supporting vulnerable children and ideally some relevant experience. Excellent communication skills are vital, and knowledge of Makaton or sign language is a plus.
Position: 35 hours weekly. Temporary with potential for permanent placement depending on performance.
