Job Description & How to Apply Below
Teaching Assistant. Long-Term SEN Roles in Rugby and surrounding areas.

SEN supply cover and SEN recruitment are all we do. That focus is why schools come to us first when they need Teaching Assistants who understand additional needs and can offer consistency rather than short-term fixes.

For many pupils, feeling settled comes before progress. Familiar adults. Predictable routines. Time to build trust. These roles are for Teaching Assistants who want full-time, long-term or permanent SEN work in and around the Rugby area.

We work with mainstream schools that have SEN provision, alongside specialist SEN settings across the local area. The roles suit people with recent classroom experience, as well as Psychology or SEN-related graduates who want stability, development, and the opportunity to see the difference their support makes over time.

The roles

* Supporting pupils with additional needs throughout the school day

* Working 1:1 or in small groups, based on individual needs

* Supporting learning, regulation, and emotional wellbeing

* Working within mainstream classrooms with SEN provision or specialist SEN settings

* Following guidance from teachers and SENCOs

* Supporting routines, transitions, and positive behaviour approaches

* Becoming a consistent, trusted presence within an SEN setting

What we’re looking for

* Recent classroom-based experience of at least 6 months in a mainstream or SEN setting, or a Psychology or SEN-related graduate with hands-on classroom or support experience

* Confidence supporting pupils with needs such as autism, ADHD, or SEMH

* Availability for full-time work, Monday to Friday

* Commitment to long-term or permanent placements rather than day-to-day supply

* A calm, patient, and reflective approach

* A reliable and professional attitude

What’s on offer

* Full-time, long-term or permanent SEN roles in the local area

* Stable placements where relationships and routines matter

* Ongoing support from a team that works exclusively within SEN

* Experience that supports future teaching or specialist pathways

Why Sprint?

If you’re looking for short-term, general classroom supply, we’re probably not the right fit. But if supporting pupils with additional needs is what motivates you, and you want a role where consistency allows you to see real progress, that’s exactly what we do.
