An exciting opportunity to shape engagement and make a lasting impact. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Community and Events Manager to join our dynamic team at City of London Freemen’s School.
COMMUNITY AND EVENTS MANAGER
4 days a week, all year round
• Salary £33,070 to 37,095 pa inclusive of Outer London Weighting
• Required as soon as possible
- Lead on creating exceptional experiences that strengthen our marketing, admissions, and community engagement efforts and help showcase Freemen’s to prospective families.
- Help deliver the School’s strategic vision as part of the External Relations Department, reporting to the Director of External Relations.
- Develop and deliver a busy, externally facing events program and support pupil recruitment through admissions and marketing events.
- Shape our community engagement strategy by fostering partnerships with local schools, charities, and corporate organisations, and support our bursary programme.
- Build meaningful relationships that enrich the experience of current pupils and strengthen the School’s ties with the wider community.
- A confident, creative communicator who thrives on building relationships and delivering outstanding events.
- Experience in an educational setting, preferably within the independent sector, with a strong track record of organising admissions and marketing events to support pupil recruitment.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and Saturdays, in addition to 28 hours per week over 4 days (including a Friday).
Working hours:
28 hours per week over 4 days to include a Friday. There will also be the requirement to work occasional evenings and Saturdays.
