Permanent, Full‑Time

Shifts:

Monday - Friday, rotating 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am

Position Summary

We’re seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join a dedicated engineering team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring machinery runs efficiently, production remains uninterrupted, and all work meets strict safety and quality standards.

What You’ll Do

Respond to machinery breakdowns and prioritise repairs to minimise downtime
Carry out safety checks and preventative maintenance at scheduled intervals
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and quality procedures
Log all work accurately on the digital maintenance system (APP)
Support stock control through correct storage and labelling of spare parts
Identify remedial work following inspections or observations
Deliver planned maintenance to a high standard and within deadlines
Liaise with management regarding concerns or improvement opportunities
Support team development through coaching and knowledge sharing

What You Bring

Experience in maintenance engineering within manufacturing or production
Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
Knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance procedures
Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
Experience using digital maintenance systems (APP or similar)
A proactive, problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Level 3 qualification (or higher) in mechanical or electrical engineering
