The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer with a strong engineering background and expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6. This role requires a candidate who can hit the ground running and take full ownership of project planning activities on site.
A background in ME&I (Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation) and/or major construction delivery would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and maintain integrated project schedules in Primavera P6
Work closely with engineering, construction, and project controls teams
Conduct critical path analysis and identify schedule risks/opportunities
Monitor progress, update programmes, and forecast completion
Lead planning meetings and present reports to senior stakeholders
Support change control and schedule impact assessments
Ensure alignment with commercial and cost reporting functions
Requirements
Proven Senior Planning Engineer experience on large-scale engineering/construction projects
Advanced/Expert Primavera P6 capability
Strong engineering understanding across project life cycles
ME&I or complex industrial construction background (highly desirable)
Strong stakeholder engagement and reporting skills
Able to operate autonomously from day one
