Join AXA - Global Healthcare as a Tech Lead and be a pivotal part of our international team. You’ll collaborate closely with Engineering leadership to establish and uphold robust engineering practices across our Data and IT teams. You’ll work alongside strategic stakeholders, including Marketing and the Transformation Programme, to develop and integrate new and existing systems that support our ambitious vision.

Your expertise will be critical in delivering key technology initiatives such as API management, authentication, event driven messaging, and integrations with platforms like Salesforce, Google Ads, Azure and Actisure. AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You’ll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you’ll be doing :
  • Co‑own and lead technical discussions and implementations for integrations, including API, EDM, Data Platform, Authentication (Auth0), and marketing systems such as Google Ads, Salesforce and Actisure.
  • Review and translate High‑Level Design (HLD) documentation into detailed Low‑Level Design (LLD) for implementation.
  • Create, review and ensure quality of Engineering LLD documentation to support development activities.
  • Oversee and review Azure Dev Ops (ADO) pipelines, providing support for code peer reviews within the engineering team.
  • Lead the migration and integration of ADO with SaaS applications, including Auth
    0.
  • Support Agile methodologies across engineering and external teams, ensuring user stories are well‑defined, estimated and meet the  definition of done .
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business goals and architecture standards.
  • Drive best practices in engineering, ensuring robust, scalable and secure implementation of systems.

What you’ll bring:
  • Experience with API integration using platforms such as APIM or Mule Soft, including creating documentation and testing APIs is advantageous.
  • Experience building web apps in Azure .NET or similar environments (e.g., Optimizely) and knowledge of tools such as Azure Dev Ops and App Gateway.
  • Experience working with authentication providers such as Auth0/Okta and integrating them with internal systems.
  • Ability to work well with different teams, including business, architecture and engineering.
  • Skilled in turning business needs into clear technical requirements and project plans with marketing and IT teams.
  • Responsible for keeping websites and digital assets stable, fast and reliable.
  • Knowledge of Lambdas or similar solutions for event‑driven messaging is advantageous.
  • Hands‑on coding experience, reviewing code and working with pipelines that include tools such as Check Marx and Sonar Qube is advantageous.
  • Willing to help the team resolve critical technical issues when needed.
