Responsibilities- See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy
- Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload – in the department, on the ward and in theatre
- Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities
- Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures
- Supervise and develop junior colleagues
- Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion
We require a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), HCPC registration, a postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge. Ideally, Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately.

About Tunbridge Wells HospitalThe Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital is recognised for its friendly atmosphere, clinical expertise, and high standards of care. Our purpose-built hospital has been established since 1968. With 40 en-suite bedrooms, a busy outpatients and pre-assessment departments. We also provide a diagnostic imaging service (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography and X-ray), pathology, paediatric unit, surgical recovery ward, cancer care unit, 3 state-of-the-art operating theatres and physiotherapy services.
Our small and friendly imaging department offers a broad range of modalities and studies. We have a 1.5T Philips Ingenia widebore MRI scanner and an Aquilion Prime CT scanner. We also offer Mammography, Dexa, Fluoroscopy, Theatre, Ultrasound and general X-ray. Our MRI and general X-ray services run from 8-8 and we offering 3 long days.
