Trust & Tax Legal AssistantAbout the role This opportunity offers the chance to join a highly respected Tax and Trust team within a well-established Private Client department. The successful candidate will support the team with a varied caseload, including self-assessment tax returns, HMRC submissions, UK property disposal Capital Gains Tax reporting, estate accounting and the preparation of Estate Tax Returns.

They will also take responsibility for progressing ongoing matters, ensuring each stage is completed accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional support to both the team and clients. The role is hybrid, full-time, with three office days per week following the qualifying period. What we are looking forA highly organised individual who thrives in a busy environment and is confident managing a varied administrative workload.

Strong communication skills are essential, as the role involves speaking regularly with clients and supporting the wider team. Ideal candidates will bring some previous experience within tax, trusts, financial services or a similar professional setting. A background aligned with an AAT/ATT pathway would be advantageous, though not essential. Problem-solving skills, initiative, and the ability to stay on top of multiple tasks at once will be key to success.
