- Location: 110 East 2nd Street, Royal Oak, MI 48067
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Perm
- Start Date: ASAP (Credentialing may require up to 90 days)
- Schedule: Mix of 8-10-12-hour outpatient shifts, flexible transition to longer shifts; no on-call or weekend duties
- Compensation: $238,368 annually ($114.60/hour)
- Incentive: $20,000 starting bonus
- Administer intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics during surgical, obstetric, and diagnostic procedures, including diverse patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Manage airway intubations and advanced airway support across various clinical settings, including operating rooms, radiology, ICU, and emergency departments.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments, collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to develop individualized anesthesia care plans, and deliver perioperative management.
- Maintain precise documentation of all procedures, assessments, and patient care activities.
- Provide leadership by supporting team members, mentoring less experienced staff, and fostering a collaborative, respectful work environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and continuing professional development.
- Support patient and family education tailored to individual needs, fostering a positive patient experience aligned with the Henry Ford "Customer Service" standards.
- Adhere to all regulatory and institutional standards regarding safety, documentation, and practice.
- Contribute to maintaining a healthy, respectful, and efficient workplace environment.
- Certification:
Board-C Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA). Candidates who were previously certified and need recertification will be considered. - Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of professional CRNA practice (excluding RN or training). Not accepting new graduates. - Education:
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program. - Licensure:
Valid RN and CRNA licenses in Michigan or eligible for reciprocity. - Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, PALS; AANA membership; valid DEA license if applicable. - Additional:
Willingness to travel between ambulatory sites as needed; commitment to maintaining certification and credentialing requirements.
- Clinical settings include operating rooms, radiology, ICU, and emergency care areas.
- Work involves frequent walking, bending, lifting, and exposure to potential hazards, including communicable diseases.
