For nearly a decade,
Seward Henderson PLLC has built a reputation as one of Michigan’s most respected civil defense litigation firms. We are a boutique practice that defends municipalities, law-enforcement agencies, risk pools, and private organizations in high-stakes matters in state and federal courts—including trial and appellate work.
We do not operate like a volume defense shop. Our cases are litigated thoroughly, strategically, and with precision. We expect our attorneys to think critically, write clearly, and take ownership of their work. In return, we invest heavily in training, mentorship, and long-term professional development.
Role DescriptionWe are hiring a full-time Associate Attorney for an in-office litigation role in Royal Oak, Michigan.

- Downtown Royal Oak office with covered parking
We value accountability, intellectual curiosity, and steady improvement. Wins are celebrated, mistakes are treated as learning opportunities, and effort matters. We work hard, support each other, and take pride in the quality of our advocacy.
If you want to practice law in an environment where your work matters and your skills are taken seriously, we want to hear from you.
