Job Details

Corewell Health is offering up to a $7000 sign‑on bonus to external hires and internal new grads currently in a student role.

Full Time Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 7:30AM to 6:00PM, occasionally 9:30AM to 8:00PM
On Call Weekends: Yes

Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital opened on Jan. 24, 1955 as a 238‑bed community hospital. Today it is a 1,101‑bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations. It hosts 43 residency and fellowship programs with 454 residents and fellows and partners exclusively with the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.

Scope

of Work

Under general supervision, the Special Procedure Tech provides direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing heart and/or vascular procedures. Responsibilities include IV starts, patient prep, hemodynamic monitoring, equipment operation, documentation, vascular access site management, and patient/family education.

Qualifications
  • Interventional Radiology requires completion of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT).
  • Cath Lab/EP Lab requires graduation from a Cardiovascular Technologist program, associate degree in cardiovascular technology/basic science, Paramedic license, Exercise Physiologist, or equivalent training and/or education.
  • Clinical experience required through graduation of one of the above listed programs.
  • 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab or IR is required.
  • IR requires BLS certification and active RT status upon hire; RT‑CV or VI within 2 years of hire.
  • Cath Lab requires BLS upon hire and ACLS within 6 months;
    Registered RCES/RCIS/RT certification and IABP certification.
  • EP Lab requires BLS upon hire and ACLS within 6 months;
    Registered RCIS/RCES.
