About The Unit: 9 North ACE unit is a 29‑bed specialty unit caring for medical patients 65 years old and older. The unit provides a dynamic, compassionate environment that offers learning and professional growth. The facility is Magnet, NICHE trained, and staff receive geriatric specialty training.

Scope of Work: Provides care to patients according to the plan of care, unit routine, and hospital policy under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Performs safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services, and appropriate documentation. Serves as an observer for patients who require constant observation, either in person or via remote video monitoring. Performs general receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate efficient unit functioning and documents care in the electronic medical record.

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required
• Current CNA certification preferred
