Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Prepares, researches, and analyzes financial and utilization information to support the department.

Essential Functions
  • Performs statistical, cost, and financial variance analysis of data to evaluate financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Provides guidance on business issues including financial and profitability analysis. Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity, which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
  • Serves as a consultant to assigned areas of the organization to support the financial goals and objectives of Spectrum Health.
Qualifications
  • Required
    :
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, statistics, or related field.
    • 3 years of relevant experience in Finance, accounting, or related work.
  • Preferred
    :
    • Master’s degree in business or finance.
    • Formal or informal leadership experience.
    • Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Michigan extracción: LIC-Certified Public Accountant (CPA) -  State of Michigan.
