Syntech Recruitment is proud to partner with a forward-thinking manufacturer to find a talented CNC Turners for a 6-month contract.

If you're confident with Fanuc controls and CNC lathe and have a strong eye for detail, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a company focused on quality and innovation.

Working closely with your team leader and supported by an offline programming team, you'll be responsible for precision turning using a range of CNC lathes and control systems.

• Interpret technical drawings and route cards to produce parts to exact specifications
• Operate a variety of CNC lathes including:

Victor, Leadwell and/or Doosans

• Read, understand, and edit CNC programmes, adjusting speeds and feeds as necessary
• Use your knowledge of turning tips and insert selection to optimise performance
• Carry out in-process and final inspection using precision measuring equipment
• Collaborate with the team to solve problems and support continuous improvement
• Assist with other machining areas and processes when needed

• Strong CNC turning background with proven experience on modern CNC lathes
• Fanuc control knowledge is essential;
  Siemens 828D experience is a plus
• Confident in reading technical drawings and inspecting work with gauges and micrometers
• Ability to adjust programmes and tooling on-machine
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem-solving
• Advantageous: experience with manual lathes and/or the Harrison Alpha 400 Plus NC lathe
