Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Fitter to join their production team at a well-established site in Warwick.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday - 06:45 and 16:15

Salary:
Up to £16.94ph

Duties

* Assemble and install mechanical components in line with engineering specifications

* Carry out work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems

* Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings

* Maintain consistently high standards of quality and safety

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets

* Uphold good housekeeping practices and comply with all health and safety requirements

* Utilise computer systems, including the Production Management System (PMS)

* Demonstrate flexibility by supporting different departments when required

Requirements

* Previous experience in a Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Operative, or comparable role

* Experience working to takt times within a single-line production environment

* Competent in general hydraulic fitting and mechanical assembly work

* Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings

* Strong attention to detail with effective problem-solving abilities

* Confident using computer systems and production management software

* Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work well as part of a team

* Willingness to work in confined spaces and undertake occasional manual handling

* Relevant mechanical fitting qualifications or training in hydraulics/pneumatics advantageous
