As Production Cell Manager leading our end-process production areas you’ll focus on achieving quality, delivery, safety, continuous improvement and team development whilst receiving extensive training in our specialist production processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop production teams to meet quality and delivery targets
- Maintain a safe, clean and well-organised working environment at all times
- Ensure all employees understand and follow the Occupational Health & Safety programme
- Investigate accidents, near misses, unsafe acts and conditions
- Conduct regular Health & Safety discussions and reviews
- Plan manpower and equipment, resolve production issues and driving efficiency
- Manage training, performance reviews, attendance and disciplinary processes
- Liaise with customers to maintain excellent service and relationships
- Prepare management reports and ensure KPIs and departmental goals are achieved
- Identify, lead and promote continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience gained in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and people development skills
- Confident handling shop-floor challenges and fast-paced problem-solving
- Effective communicator with staff, senior management and customers
- Knowledge of enamel/paint processes
- NVQ Level 3 in Manufacturing or equivalent
- Understanding of production H&S systems
