Newly Qualified Midwife

Over 3000 babies a year are born at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust and we are proud to have been at the forefront of successful service improvements and developments including work with the Department of Health, Better Births and Baby Friendly Initiative. We have an exciting opportunity for midwives to join our team. We are looking for individuals with excellent communication, who are enthusiastic, self‑motivated and committed to the provision of a high quality service.

You will need to be flexible to work within our maternity teams in all care settings. We have an excellent preceptorship programme to support your professional development, alongside a Workforce and development Team to help you. • Consolidate theory and practice acquired during midwifery training by working in all areas of Maternity Services, rotating from day to night duty.
• Maintain a high standard of midwifery care at all times.
• Acquire additional competencies to fulfil the role of a midwife providing total care to women and progress to a Band 6 Midwife.
