Medium & Heavy Duty Repair Technician

Position Overview:

As a Repair Technician, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing the highest level of diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on various medium to heavy-duty machinery, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards. This position requires a strong mechanical background, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

• Perform advanced diagnostics and perform the highest level of troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy duty machinery including but not limited to, Semi Truck and Trailers,RV’s, Buses, Medium duty Trucks
• Perform welding tasks (preferred but not required)
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Follow repair procedures and best practices to enhance efficiency and quality of work in collaboration with management.
• Maintain a clean work environment in a fully outfitted company provided service truck.
• Work with and maintain power tools, compressors, pneumatic systems and other tooling.
• Enjoy a paperless work environment with a customized digital job software. Document accurate records of services and repairs, parts used, and labor hours through clear notes and pictures.
• Communicate effectively with teammates and customers to explain repairs and provide updates.
• Support and ensure compliance of safe work practices and follow company safety rules.
• Contribute to a positive and proactive work environment.

• Formal or apprenticed training in all required disciplines. Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in heavy-duty repair. Welding experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of heavy-duty machinery, including suspension, brakes, axle/ wheel end systems and steering and drive systems. Electrical is a plus.
• Proficient in high level diagnostics without relying on computers.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to be a self starter and work independently or as part of a team.
• Lift/Carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with or without assistance.
• Able to work in all weather conditions and for the entire workday.
• Easily engage in physical activities including standing, crouching, sitting, bending, reaching, climbing, balancing, crawling and stooping.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
