Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Principal Quality Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be based out of Roy, Utah.
What You Will Get To DoThe selected candidate will support Mission Assurance functions to ensure mission success. The Principal Quality Analyst (A03) will develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with AS9100 requirements, quality assurance programs, policies, processes, procedures, and conformance to product quality specifications requirements.
Will participate in creating, facilitating, and completing Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA) activities, providing guidance in the establishment of root cause by using the 8D methodology to assure complete and accurate problem-solving techniques. This will include analysis of corrective action defect trends.
Will work directly with operating entities to ensure completeness of corrective actions with objective evidence, while meeting identified requirements, ultimately ensuring that the quality assurance programs and policies pertaining to the Strategic Deterrent System (SDS) Division Quality Management Systems are in accordance with AS9100 requirements.
Basic Qualifications- A Bachelor s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or 3 years of relevant experience with a Master s, or 1 year of relevant experience with a PhD. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.)
- 2 years experience working in an AS9100 or ISO
9001 compliant organization. - 1 year experience in developing or reviewing Root Cause / Corrective Action activity
- Experience in Quality Management Systems
- 5+ years Quality Management System (QMS) and Root Cause Corrective Action analysis
- Continual Improvement
- Risk Analysis and Management
- Process Improvement
- Experience with document control process
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment.

- This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
