Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst - R
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Level 3 Principal Program Control Analyst to join the Aeronautics Systems team in Roy, UT. The role focuses on financial and administrative support for program requirements using Earned Value Management (EVM). Relocation assistance may be available. Clearance type:
Secret. Travel: 10% of the time.
- Interface with program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis.
- Establish Work Breakdown Structures, assess performance criteria, and maintain estimates for budgeted cost of work scheduled.
- Support internal and external reporting on variance analysis, budget baselines, funding analysis, cost risk assessment, and visibility reports.
- Prepare government cost performance reports and performance measurement variance analysis.
- Support the preparation of budgets, schedules, and ETC/EAC; assist with monthly CDRL submissions such as IPMR; and facilitate the program monthly rhythm process.
- Use Deltek Cobra, SAP/S4, wInsight, Tableau/Power
BI, and MS Excel/Project/PowerPoint for EVM system updates.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint).
- Experience in Government Contracting with Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Experience with business systems such as SAP and Cobra in a Government EVM rhythm.
- Financial forecasting experience with EVMS or government cost reporting.
- Ability to work on site daily in Roy, UT.
- Current or transferable Secret clearance (DoD in‑scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation).
- Ability to use financial systems, learn EVMS principles, and conduct cost performance reporting and analysis.
- Experience with AOP and LRSP processes.
- Understanding of U.S. government procurement, contracting, Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR.
- Ability to identify cross‑contract issues and recommend mitigation solutions.
Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400 – $122,000. Overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and annual bonuses are possible. Benefits include health insurance, life & disability insurance, savings plan, company‑paid holidays, paid time off, 9/80 schedule, 401(k) matching program, and more.
