Roy, UT or Manhattan Beach, CA.

You’ll Get To Do
The Launch System team oversees the ground design of multiple electrical components required at different Sentinel weapon system facilities located across the nation.
Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:- Attending internal program, customer and/or supplier technical exchange meetings
- Support formal program milestone reviews to provide and/or obtain progress status updates.
- Working in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.
- Ensure appropriate coordination between electrical design and other integration teams.
- Coordinate electrical system engineering content and work products.
- Conduct electrical analysis and/or develop LRU electrical designs
- Develop Product Definition Packages (PDPs)/Analysis Data Packages (ADPs) and take them through the full review and release process.
- Review engineering deliverables such as one-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, part data sheets, interconnect connect diagrams, specifications, electrical analysis and trade studies
- May perform research, trade studies, evaluation, and systems integration in electrical or electro‑mechanical systems, cables, connectors, power systems, test equipment, and more.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to work effectively to understand system level interdependencies that impact electrical requirements and design constraints.

- Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience, or 0 years of experience with a Master’s degree.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience, or 2 years of experience with a Master’s degree, or 0 years of experience with a PhD.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
- Experience with electrical and power‑systems design and analysis, control systems, and/or engine/generator subsystems or components.
- Knowledgeable with Siemens Teamcenter PLM or equivalent.
- Knowledgeable utilizing power‑system design and/or analysis software tools such as ETAP, PSS/E, SKM(PTW), Easy Power, PSCAD or equivalent.
- Comfortable with understanding industry codes, standards, specifications, and mil-specs.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
- Previous NGC internship preferred.
- Working experience utilizing power‑system design and/or analysis software tools such as ETAP, PSS/E, SKM(PTW), Easy Power or PSCAD.
