You'll Get To Do:
- Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network, software, and system engineers, project managers, end users, and customer and IT management
- Recommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management
- Integration of IP based devices into networks architecture. Will also support configuration, troubleshooting of devices / network
- Work within and across teams to support and coordinate daily integration activities
- Execute root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system issues
- Coordinate integrated testing activities.
- Oversee test activities in support or requirement verification and validation.

This position’s standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Engineer Systems Test- Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of Engineering experience, Masters with 0 years of experience, or 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- 1 year of hands on engineering or administration experience for Cisco/Juniper networks, RHEL and Windows OS
- 1 year of experience with Windows AD, VMWare, or SAN storage systems
- 1 year of experience integrating COTS, GOTS and custom software in a security constrained environment
- 1 year of experience working with lab environments/processes (Foreign Object Elimination, Electro-Static Discharge, Configuration Management)
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of Engineering experience;
Masters with 3 years experience, PHD with 1 year experience, or 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. - 3 years of hands on engineering or administration experience for Cisco/Juniper networks, RHEL and Windows OS
- 3 years of experience with Windows AD, VMWare, or SAN storage systems
- 3 years of experience integrating COTS, GOTS and custom software in a security constrained environment
- 3 years of experience working with lab environments/processes (Foreign Object Elimination, Electro-Static Discharge, Configuration Management)
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Current DoD 8570” IAT Level II Certification (such as CompTIA Security+ CE)
- Understanding of basic networking, including subnets, routing, and VLANs
