- Maintain smooth operation of multi‑user computer systems, coordinating with network, software, and system engineers, project managers, end users, and customer and IT management.
- Recommend and implement system enhancements that improve performance and reliability, including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.
- Integrate IP‑based devices into network architecture and support configuration and troubleshooting of devices and network.
- Work within and across teams to support and coordinate daily integration activities.
- Execute root‑cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system issues.
- Coordinate integrated testing activities.
- Oversee test activities in support of requirement verification and validation.

Standard work schedule: 9/80 (nine‑hour day Monday‑Thursday, every other Friday off).
Engineer Systems Test Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of engineering experience, Master’s with 0 years of experience, or 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
- 1 year of hands‑on engineering or administration experience for Cisco/Juniper networks, RHEL, and Windows OS.
- 1 year of experience with Windows AD, VMWare, or SAN storage systems.
- 1 year of experience integrating COTS, GOTS, and custom software in a security‑constrained environment.
- 1 year of experience working with lab environments/processes (Foreign Object Elimination, Electro‑Static Discharge, Configuration Management).
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of engineering experience;
Master’s with 3 years, PhD with 1 year, or 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree. - 3 years of hands‑on engineering or administration experience for Cisco/Juniper networks, RHEL, and Windows OS.
- 3 years of experience with Windows AD, VMWare, or SAN storage systems.
- 3 years of experience integrating COTS, GOTS, and custom software in a security‑constrained environment.
- 3 years of experience working with lab environments/processes (Foreign Object Elimination, Electro‑Static Discharge, Configuration Management).
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at the time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
- Current DoD 8570‑IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE).
- Understanding of basic networking, including subnets, routing, and VLANs.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline; 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Experience with VMWare NSX‑T, Tanzu, Kubernetes.
- Experience with the creation and deployment of system images in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (e.g., Jira and/or Confluence).
- Experience with Certification & Accreditation process and patch management.
- Current Top Secret clearance.
Primary Level: $72,100 – $108,100
Secondary Level: $89,400 – $134,200
