Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Property and Asset Management Analyst/ P
rincipal Property and Asset Management Analyst
. This position will be located in Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) Ground Base Strategic Deterrent program.

What You’ll Get To Do:
  • Oversee, lead/manage, and analyze activities associated with property management standards and practices to ensure company, customer and US Government property located on site and at subcontractor sites are managed and controlled in accordance with applicable regulations and policies to achieve best value and operational excellence with an approved Property Business System.
  • Establish and maintain complete life cycle property accountability records and ensure property systems remain compliant across all phases of the life-cycle.
  • Maintain proper documentation to support each lifecycle transactional event, determine condition and lead proper disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment.
  • Duties will include familiarity with contractual terms that drive company requirements and obligations. Working knowledge with both internal tools (i.e. SAP) and external tools (PIEE GFP Module) to meet NG contract obligations.
  • Host and lead internal and external Property Business System audits and analyze results for financial and operational purposes; provide guidance on contracts and regulations pertaining to property life-cycle management; develop, recommend, and implement property management policy; and prepare periodic and special purpose reports relative to matters such as taxes, leasing, insurance, facility usage, etc.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You’ll Bring These

Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a Property and Asset Management Analyst level or a Principal Property and Asset Management Analyst level.

  • Property and Asset Management Analyst Level: 2 Years with Bachelors; 0 Years with Masters, 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Principal Property and Asset Management Analyst Level: 5 Years with Bachelors; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD, 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
Required for Both Levels:
  • Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR Part 45, FAR 52.245-1, and DFARS property management clauses.
  • Ability to work with diverse levels of internal/external customers, i.e., DCMA, Prime Contractors, DoD personnel.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Current NPMA Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM)
  • Understanding of SAP
  • 3+ Years government property/asset management experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
