Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal or Sr. Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst to support the Sentinel Program. This position will be located at our Roy, UT facility supporting the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division of our Defense System Sector.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Setup, monitoring, and controlling program costs and schedules.
  • Performing analyses and preparing reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed‑upon parameters.
  • Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work.
  • Incorporating contract changes into control systems.
  • Estimate and completion and forecast related activities.
  • Performing miscellaneous financial analysis as required.
Basic Qualifications

Level 2 Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years OR a Master’s degree with 0 years of professional Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting and/or Aerospace & Defense Business‑related experience. 6+ years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tool, Business Intelligence & Analytics tool, Project Management & Planning tool and/or Collaboration & Integration tools.

Level 3 Principal Cost and Schedule Analyst

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of professional Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting and/or Aerospace & Defense Business‑related experience. 9+ years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel (including Pivot tables, V‑look Up, VBA and/or Macros).
  • Experience with EVMS Software (e.g., SAP, SAP BW, Deltek Cobra, Open Plan, MPM, Acumen One IWO, Primavera P6).
  • 1 or more years’ experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) Principals and applying Earned Value Techniques in an Aerospace & Defense environment; EVM Certification will be accepted in lieu of one year experience.
  • Experience managing and analyzing project costs using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).

Must be a>U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years.
