Position Details:

• Full-time RN position (8:15 AM - 3:15 PM)
• Providing one-on-one care for a 5th grade female student
• Patient requires g-tube feeding, respiratory monitoring, and non-verbal communication support
• Student has significant visual impairment (almost blind)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care and monitor respiratory status closely
• Administer g-tube feedings and maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with educators and therapists to support the student's health and educational needs
• Adapt to a school environment and manage care during school hours effectively
• Use critical thinking and clinical skills to respond to medical needs promptly

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure
• Experience in pediatric nursing, particularly with medically complex students
• Comfort with respiratory monitoring and tube feedings
• Strong communication skills to interact with non-verbal patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work independently in a school setting
