Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in invasive cardiovascular procedures and possess excellent technical skills.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of invasive cardiovascular procedures including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties and stent placements
- Monitor patient vital signs and assist with anesthesia administration
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment used during procedures
- Assess patient condition and respond to any changes or complications
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and follow-up instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures
- Stay current on advancements and changes in the field of cardiovascular invasive procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited cardiovascular invasive specialist program
- Current certification as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCVS)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in invasive cardiovascular procedures
- Strong technical skills and ability to operate specialized equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including on-call and weekends
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
