Pay Rate: Minimum $21.40/hr – Maximum $24.50/hr
Job Summary: Responsible for delivery and pickup of containers to and/or from customer locations; provide an effective and incident‑free delivery or pickup of a container while maintaining excellent rapport with the customer.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Drive and operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites safely by following all safety rules.
- Perform and log daily pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift.
- Accept add‑on deliveries as required to meet business needs.
- Use company handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation.
- Operate a forklift and/or an overhead crane.
- Clean and inspect containers to ensure they are presentable for delivery to the customer.
- Coordinate rental paperwork and payment with the customer.
- Communicate with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer questions or issues cloth; prepare driver notes as needed.
- Perform repairs of containers and lifts in the field and at the storage center.
- Provide backup for storage center functions when needed.̌li>
- Maintain cleanliness of the truck cab, keeping it free from debris inside and outside.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Typically reports to Management. Direct supervisor title(s) include:
Market Manager, Territory Manager. - The role is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management).
Education & Experience Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid CDL Class B License without air brake restriction.
- Maintain a current/valid driver license.
- Meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards.
- Be at least 21 years of age (insurance requirement).
- Possess a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate or be able to obtain a minimum one‑year certification (DOT requirement).
- Hands‑on experience with electronic equipment and software preferred.
- Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties

- Ability to attend required 2‑week New Hire Driver Training Program.
