Working in our Neurology Department offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in advanced diagnostic imaging, including CT scans and MRI procedures. We’re committed to your growth and will train the right person to succeed in this specialized field.

• Restrain animals for neurological examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Prepare prescriptions as ordered by the doctor: appropriate container, labeling, directions, and warnings.
• Perform laboratory procedures.
• Assist in performing diagnostic studies, including radiography, CT, and MRI.
• Basic inventory and stocking duties.
• Basic surgical duties: prepare the surgical suite and anesthesia equipment; pull instruments & open room; scrub & assist in surgery as needed; break down & clean room; clean, wrap and sterilize packs.
• Take the patient's vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas.
• Consistent, on‑time arrival at work each day you are scheduled to work.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician is required.
• Stellar customer service skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, walk, and stand for an extended period of time.
• Required to lift up to forty (40) pounds.
