In this role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of your patients, clients, and colleagues by delivering reliable walk‑in, outpatient care for pets with non‑life‑threatening conditions that still need to be seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling urgent and emergency cases, demonstrating exceptional medical and diagnostic skills, and displaying a strong commitment to delivering outstanding patient care. • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
• State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
• Experience in urgent and emergency care.

Thrive Mesquite is an urgent care practice located in Mesquite, Texas focusing on minor emergencies that are not life‑threatening such as lacerations, limping/painful pets, hypersensitivity reactions, vomiting and/or diarrhea without significant dehydration, ear infections causing discomfort, urinary tract infections, non‑obstructed FLUTD/FUS patients, etc. Cases are referred by general practice veterinarians because they are unable to see them in a timely manner and fit within the scope of care we provide.

In the Urgent Care department, we offer walk‑in services and appointments for a variety of conditions and maintain close contact with the primary veterinarians to ensure that patients return for ongoing care with their family veterinarian.
