Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery Nights About the job
Position: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Nights
Provide care for patients utilizing fetal and maternal monitoring equipment.
Manage the patient's pain including epidural and patient‑controlled analgesia administration.
Assist physician during delivery, treatment, examination and surgical procedures.
Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate using computerized documentation systems.
Provide patient and family education on labor, pain and newborn care.
As an RN, conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care plans, adjusting plans to reach desired outcomes.
Building relationships, managing discomfort, and staying professional are vital to therapeutic connections with patients and families.
QUALIFICATIONS- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Major: Nursing.
- Certification/Licensure/Registration: Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
