Clinical Research Nurse Practitioner
LocationAustin, Texas
Position OverviewClinical research at CTNC places you at the forefront of neurology. As a Nurse Practitioner in research, you blend hands‑on patient care with influence in developing new therapies and protocols. You will collaborate directly with board‑certified neurologists, scientists, and seasoned research professionals, gaining exposure to the newest therapies before they reach broader practice. This role offers meaningful patient‑centered work, opportunities for professional visibility through publications and presentations, and continuous learning in a dynamic environment.
Education& Experience
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner
- Active license to practice as an FNP in Texas preferred
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in neurology, internal medicine, family medicine, or related field
- Prior clinical research experience ideal but not required; motivated clinician with strong assessment skills and attention to detail preferred
- Comfort with protocol‑driven environments and structured workflows
- Evaluate potential participants and identify those eligible for study enrollment.
- Perform focused physical and neurologic exams required for each study.
- Support patients through visits, answer questions, and monitor for safety concerns.
- Follow study instructions for each visit and ensure all required steps are completed.
- Document assessments clearly and accurately in the EMR and study systems.
- Work closely with research coordinators and clinical staff to keep visits running smoothly.
- Communicate updates or concerns to supervising investigators and study leadership.
- Complete study‑specific training provided by sponsors.
- Participate in occasional meetings or trainings related to active studies.

Compensation Options Full‑Time (Salaried)- Base salary starting at $120,000, depending on experience
