• As a Registered Dietitian, provide medical nutrition therapy to inpatients/outpatients via nutrition screenings, assessments, consultations, and counseling sessions.
• Manage nutritional care according to physician diagnoses, prepare documentation and follow‑up, assist in department performance improvement, and review interdisciplinary screening processes.
• Provide evidence‑based nutrition counseling on modified diets.
• Conduct nutritional screenings and assessments.
• Collaborate with physicians to coordinate and implement nutritional recommendations.
• Identify and document potential nutritional implications of medications.
• Assist Food Service Department aides with patient food selection and diet compliance.

• Preferred 1 year of clinical nutrition experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Prior hospital inpatient/outpatient experience with emphasis on diabetes, cardiac, ICU, and geriatric care.
• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with successful completion of ADA‑approved internship or coordinated undergraduate program.
• Registered Dietitian (R.D.) credential or eligible with the Commission on Dietetic Registration within 6 months of initial employment.
• Licensed Dietitian (L.D.) with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Dietitians within 6 months of initial employment.
• Preferred Williamson County Health Department Food Handler Permit.

St. David's Round Rock Medical Center is a 200+ bed acute‑care facility in north Austin, Texas, offering a Level II trauma center and advanced cardiac care.
