Industrial Water​/Wastewater Project Manager

Overview

HDR's Industrial Water/Wastewater Project Manager in the Round Rock office will

• Lead, direct, develop and market projects involving the planning, design and construction administration of industrial water and wastewater facilities;
• Direct project staff and lead industrial water/wastewater projects as a project director and/or project manager and be involved in marketing and planning of proposals and interviews;
• Conduct difficult to complex process engineering for both projects and proposals;
• Lead preparation of engineering plans and specifications for design of industrial facilities including water and wastewater treatment systems;
• Provide project and task management;
• Collect, assimilate, and present data in reports; and
• Develop and implement client engagement and client management planning, with Sector and regional leadership, to define and drive strategies for growing business with key clients.

Requirements:

Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 years' experience in industrial water/wastewater engineering or a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 7 years' experience in industrial water/wastewater engineering.

Required experience must include experience in:

• Process engineering for treatment of organic and inorganic industrial water/wastewater;
• Start-up and commissioning of water/wastewater systems;
• Industrial facility design and construction;
• Physical design including modularization of systems;
• Marketing and pursuit of industrial water/wastewater projects;
• Planning and budgeting;
• Staff management and mentoring; and
• Working with designers to develop construction plans in 2D and 3D CAD platforms;

Professional Engineer (PE) licensure (from any US jurisdiction).
