The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking a talented individual to join our Homeschool Program team as a Lead Teacher to develop curriculum, teach and supervise children while ensuring the safe and efficient operations of Homeschool Programs.
Schedule Requirements: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8am-3pm with summers off

We are offering $250 bonus for new staff!
ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for upholding the values and mission of the YMCA as well as the successful implementation of the following responsibilities:
- Develop and implement curriculum
- Teach and prepare lesson plans
- Supervise and ensure safety and well-being of program participants
- Supervise and manage other program staff (Teachers)
- Evaluate student progress and communicate with the VP concerning student needs
- Maintain positive relationships and open communication with parents and other staff
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
- YMCA experience preferred
- Experience managing staff
- Ability to communicate professionally with others
- Ability to handle and resolve conflict
- Ability to promote programs
- References, criminal history background check, Sex Offender Registry check, pre-employment drug screen, and pre hire training are required of all hired applicants
Pay Rate: $18.33 to $22.00/hour
