Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained, Montessori teachers and work amongst a team of teachers
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy
  • Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed
  • Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding the health and care of students
Qualifications
  • Minimum

    Required:

    CDA or Associate’s Degree, or some college coursework
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development)
