The Neuro Health Institute at Baylor Scott & White Health is recruiting an outpatient Dementia Specialist in north Austin.
No inpatient coverage or call is involved. Fellowship training or prior experience in Cognitive Neurology, Behavioral Neurology, or Dementia Care is preferred.
Position Highlights- Join an existing neurology practice to provide neurological care with a subspecialized focus treating patients in a community‑based clinic setting.
- The candidate will have a strong interest and skill set to build and grow a highly reputed dementia program.
- The regional team of neurologists is comprised of 13 neurologists, 2 APPs, technologists, nursing, and administrative support staff.
- The work schedule is Monday‑Friday to support clinic business hours and patient needs, open to a full‑time or part‑time schedule.
- Acute stroke coverage is handled by a tele‑stroke team.
- Enjoy a fully integrated practice model with Epic EMR System.

- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Where applicable, employee shall be currently board certified or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
