Accounts Receivable Specialist

We’re seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the AR aging report, resolve billing issues, and support collections. This role focuses on identifying discrepancies, maintaining accurate account updates, handling outbound email collections, supporting cash applications, running AP payments as needed, and working efficiently within a large ERP system using strong Excel skills to analyze customer data.

• Manage and analyze AR aging reports to identify issues such as over payments, missed billing, or discrepancies.
• Investigate account variances and ensure accurate classification, including capturing and calculating bad debt.
• Handle outbound collections communication (primarily email) to resolve past-due balances.
• Manage a portfolio of ~100 stable, long-term customers.
• Maintain updated account status, notes, and tracking tabs.
• Support cash application activities and resolve unapplied or misapplied payments.
• Run AP payment cycles and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Work in Oracle or another large ERP system without frustration navigating complex files.
• Use strong Excel skills to analyze data, aging files, and account-level details.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing, credit, and account issues efficiently.

• Hands?on experience working with AR aging reports and resolving account discrepancies
• Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, formulas) and comfort navigating large data files
• Experience working in a large ERP system
