Job Description & How to Apply Below
To strengthen our European Division, we are looking for an ambitious and driven Supply Chain Planner to join our dynamic, multicultural team in Barendrecht.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being at the heart of operations, this could be your next career move.
Why This Role Matters
As a Supply Chain Planner, you play a critical role in ensuring that fresh products move seamlessly from grower to retailer. You are the central link between commercial, logistics, quality, and suppliers — making sure the right products arrive at the right place, at the right time, every day.
Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the success of our European business.
What You Will Be Doing
Managing and optimizing the flow of goods from customer order to final delivery
Creating and monitoring purchase orders and consignments, ensuring supplier programs are accurately followed
Maintaining precise and up-to-date information regarding quantities, QC reports, charges, and supplier data
Verifying packing and transport costs, proactively monitoring margins and efficiencies
Coordinating closely with Sales, Quality Control, Transport Planners, Growers, and the Senior Commercial Manager
Ensuring data accuracy within our sales and consignment systems
Supporting colleagues and stepping in during peak periods, holidays, or absences
You will be in daily contact with buyers, growers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders — making communication and coordination key to your success.
Who We Are Looking For
You are proactive, detail-oriented, and energized by working in an international fresh produce environment. You enjoy solving problems, setting priorities, and ensuring operations run smoothly under pressure.
You bring:
Experience in the fresh produce industry (strongly preferred)
A Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (a plus, not mandatory)
A good command of English and Spanish
The ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Strong organizational skills and a structured way of working
A service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
Flexibility, team spirit, and willingness to travel
Most importantly, you understand that in fresh produce, timing and precision are everything.
What We Offer
A key role in an international organization supplying Europe’s largest retailers
The opportunity to grow within a globally connected, grower-owned cooperative
A competitive salary (including holiday allowance, based on 38 hours per week), depending on experience.
Real career development opportunities within an expanding European division
A collaborative, energetic, and multicultural working environment
Ready to Grow With Us?
If you are looking for a challenging and impactful supply chain role within the fresh produce sector, we would love to hear from you.
