What will you be doing?

Are you looking for a dynamic financial administrative role where you manage Accounts Payable and Sales Invoicing while helping shape and improve financial processes in a growing organization? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy? If so, this position is tailored for you!

As a Financial Administrative Officer with a focus on Accounts Payable at Nearfield Instruments, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our financial records while ensuring accurate bookkeeping. In this role, you will be responsible not only for Accounts Payable (AP), but also for Sales Invoices (Accounts Receivable), contributing to the full financial administration cycle.

In addition, we are currently implementing a new ERP system (Infor). You will actively contribute to this implementation by helping to define, improve, and embed new financial processes within the organization.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Accurately and timely processing of purchase invoices (Accounts Payable).
  • Managing Accounts Payable, including communication with suppliers regarding invoice queries and payments.
  • Processing and issuing sales invoices (Accounts Receivable).
  • Recording and documenting daily financial transactions, including project administration.
  • Reconciling balance sheet accounts and preparing account specifications.
  • Contributing to the General Ledger administration.
  • Actively contributing to the further streamlining and optimization of administrative processes.

Supporting and contributing to the implementation of the new ERP system (Infor) and helping shape new financial processes.

Furthermore, you need to recognize yourself in the profile as described below.

  • MBO degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • ERP experience is a plus, along with automation skills and proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
