Lead Piping Designer

What Will You Do?

Lead and coordinate a team of engineers and designers (15‑30 people) on complex projects

Supervise day‑to‑day piping engineering activities across all project phases

Ensure designs meet client standards, international codes, and project scope

Set up and manage project planning tools, tracking scope, schedule, budget, and milestones

Develop layout philosophies and mechanical scopes of work

Contribute to procurement support and interface with vendors and clients

Promote HSE awareness and ensure compliance with quality standards

Address cross‑discipline engineering issues to maintain coherence and progress

What Do You Bring?

BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

10+ years of experience in piping engineering for oil & gas, chemicals, or refineries

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and multiple disciplines

Familiar with 3D plant design tools (PDMS, PDS, Smart Plant 3D)

Experience with estimating man‑hours and construction cost insights

Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Workshare experience is a strong plus
