Designing is rewarding — but designing complete wind, oil, and gas structures within a multidisciplinary project team takes it to the next level. As a  Lead Electrical Designer , you will play a key role in delivering integrated electrical designs for offshore and energy projects.

In addition to your design responsibilities, you will act as the  PDMS Coordinator for Electrical & Instrumentation , taking ownership of system configuration, library setup, and coordination of project teams within the PDMS environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex offshore platforms, FPSOs, onshore facilities, and large-scale steel and mechanical installations for offshore applications, including renewable and hydrogen-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed electrical designs for offshore wind, oil & gas, and energy projects.

Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities within project teams.

Act as PDMS Coordinator for Electrical & Instrumentation disciplines.

Configure and maintain the PDMS system environment.

Set up and manage PDMS libraries and standards.

Support and guide project teams in the effective use of PDMS.

Ensure design quality, consistency, and compliance with applicable standards.

Collaborate closely with engineers and designers from other disciplines.

Requirements

MBO-level qualification (Secondary Vocational Education) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical design within the energy/offshore sector.

Strong hands‑on experience with PDMS, including prior experience in a coordinator role.

Experience in multidisciplinary offshore or industrial projects.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Enthusiastic, decisive, and proactive working style.

Ability to lead, motivate, and maximize team performance.

Comfortable collaborating across disciplines in complex project environments.
