Operational Buyer Interior

For a technical manufacturing company, we are looking for a driven and experienced Buyer. Are you someone with a passion for technical projects, and do you have experience in building strong relationships with suppliers and optimizing procurement processes? Then this opportunity might be exactly what you’re looking for!

You will work on further professionalizing the procurement function and optimizing the supply chain. You will maintain regular contact with suppliers and ensure competitive purchasing agreements, on-time deliveries, and high product quality.

Specific responsibilities in this role include:

• Drafting request specifications
• Advising on new products/materials
• Requesting, reviewing, and comparing quotations
• Researching suppliers and evaluating their reliability
• Visiting suppliers and assessing their suitability
• Selecting suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery time
• Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities
• Preparing reports
• Supporting other procurement-related activities

• At least a completed technical MBO-4 education, preferably HMC
• Multiple years of experience in interior and shipbuilding projects
• Strong command of Dutch or English
• NEVI-1 certification is an advantage
• In possession of a VCA certificate or willing to obtain one
• No strict 9-5 mentality
