Technical Marketing Director

We are seeking an experienced and visionary

Leader

Product Marketing & Applications to lead our global efforts inmarket intelligence, competitive analysis, and customer alignment. This leader will play a pivotal role in shaping Nearfield’s product portfolio to anticipatefuture requirements in advanced nodes, 3D integration, and heterogeneous packaging. You will directly report to our CTO. The focus for this role is process qualification (new applications, N+1 or 2 nodes), the execution and the the repeat business in ramp and HVM (current node) with the customer teams.

• Deep technical expertise in semiconductor processes and metrology,

• Commercial acumen and winning mentality, proven in penetrating new products into leading fabs,

• End-to-end ownership— from strategy to execution, turning innovation into manufacturable, customer-adopted solutions.
  This role demands aresults-driven, hungry leaderwho can bridge customer roadmaps with Nearfield’s technology roadmap, ensuring we are the partner of choicefor the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturers.

• Drivemarket intelligence and competitive analysis, identifying opportunities for differentiation and growth.

• Engage with senior fab stakeholders to understand theirfuture plans, unmet needs, and technology roadmaps, translating insights into product strategy.

• Leadpenetration of new products into customer fabs, ensuring adoption, scaling, and repeat business.

• Overseeapplications development, benchmarking, and customer evaluations to prove product value and secure wins.

• Define and refineproduct positioning, value propositions, and competitive messaging.

• Collaborate with R&D and engineering to ensure new products meet bothtechnical excellence and manufacturability requirements.

• Inspire and grow a high-performing
  
  Product Marketing & Applications team, instilling awinning, customer-first culture.

• Deliver measurable results — from product introduction to market share growth.

• MSc or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field

• 10+ years of leadership experience insemiconductor equipment, metrology, or process technologywith a strong product marketing and applications background.

• Proven track record inintroducing and scaling new products into leading fabs.

• Winning mentality: result-driven, hungry, and relentless in driving success.

• Deep Expertise in advanced semiconductor processes(lithography, etch, CMP, packaging, 3D integration).

• Strong ability toconnect customer needs with technology offerings, delivering end-to-end solutions.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills and Global mindset
