Assistant Professor Organization And Management

Are you an expert in public management, with a special interest in HRM related topics? Do you have experience in teaching and doing research on such topics? Are you able to express yourself in Dutch and English? If you can answer these questions with yes, we are looking for you.

The team Organisation & Management of the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences is looking for an assistant professor, to assist us with teaching courses on public management and/or HRM related topics. Are you a social scientist with a PhD degree and interested in public management with a special interest in HRM related topics, then we are looking for you.

Core tasks include:

• participating in teaching in our programs at Bachelor’s and Master’s level, such as the ‘Publiek Management’ track (in Dutch), the ‘Management van HR en Verandering’ track (in Dutch), and the ‘Arbeid, Organisatie en Beleid’ track (in Dutch). Teaching involves supervision of theses, lectures and interactive work groups;
• participating in the research program of the school;
• publishing research findings in (peer reviewed) international scientific journals;
• contributing to the acquisition of external research funding for the benefit of the research program.
