When a poisonous lizard slips into a pot of soup. A greedy, self-absorbed family unknowingly eats their own fate. Leaving behind one last person standing, the Grandma who cooked.

“The Lizard” is a 7–10 minute short film in which an absurd, yet true incident happens during a family dinner. Through this situation, the film reveals the darker dynamics that usually remain unspoken and unseen within the family. It explores the lingering effects of patriarchy in the older generation, focusing on tensions that surface subtly rather than through open confrontation.

The film will be shot in black and white in a neo‑noir aesthetic.

I’m looking for a sound designer and composer to collaborate with. Sound plays a central role in this project, as there is no dialogue. Everything is driven by environmental textures, movement details, and foley. The score will incorporate classical instrument and the sound plays a very delicate role always accompanying the image.

If you’re interested in creating an immersive, nuanced sound world for a visual‑driven short this would be the perfect match!

• Being a sound designer and/or composer.
• Having some knowledge of classical music and its instruments (physical instrument or digital orchestra software).
• Knowledge about Foley.
