Senior Construction Manager

OCRE Offshore Services is looking for a Senior Construction Manager to support challenging offshore/maritime engineering projects in the Rotterdam area. In this role you will oversee the construction, assembly, and delivery of offshore rock installation handling equipment, ensuring all activities meet safety, quality, and contractual standards.

Your role
As Senior Construction Manager, you are responsible for the full realisation of offshore rock installation equipment. You lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure seamless coordination across Engineering, Procurement, Production, and Subcontractors. You safeguard planning, budget, and quality while maintaining proactive communication with all project stakeholders.

Your responsibilities include:

Oversee the construction and integration of offshore rock installation equipment.

Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules.

Monitor progress, costs, and resource allocation; report weekly to the Project Manager.

Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Resolve technical and operational issues promptly, proposing effective solutions.

Maintain daily communication with procurement, production, and subcontractors; weekly with engineering.

Promote and enforce Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality standards throughout all phases.

Who are we looking for?
We welcome candidates who have:

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.

10–15 years of experience in construction and realisation of equipment for the offshore and/or dredging industry.

A proven track record in managing complex projects with multidisciplinary teams.

Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
